Tim O’Neil serves as Director of Professional Development and wants leaders to be their very best. His favorite role is coach and he has the propensity to confront difficulty head on. He believes in the power of the Entrepreneurial Operating System® developed by EOS Worldwide and its ability to provide vision, clarity, accountability, and results.
He had a pivotal moment in his career while working on the management team of a very successful franchise organization. They were experiencing annual growth rates of 30-35% for nearly 10 years; however, no one was on the same page as to where the company was headed. They were beginning to lose their way. The team was introduced to EOS at just the right time at the International Franchise Association’s annual conference. They discovered many organizations were implementing EOS and reaping the benefits. They got on board and within six months, the organization had massive clarity which unified the franchisor leadership team and franchise owners.
Tim was Vice President of Business Consulting at Soccer Shots Franchising where he implemented EOS with their Top 10 performing franchisees, led strategic planning sessions, and helped teams function better together. He taught business leaders how to be more strategic so they could rise above the weeds.
He was with Habitat for Humanity in Charlotte, NC for 10 years and wore many different hats; some were literally hard hats. He is most proud of a successful and scalable program he developed to serve the needs of elderly and disabled homeowners. His drive to find creative solutions eliminated a problem other organizations could not fix. The critical home repair program is now offered nationwide and has impacted thousands of people.
His affinity for entrepreneurship is rooted in the departments and organizations he’s built or turned around during his career. He has managed his family’s real estate business for over 10 years. Tim was a missionary for 5 years in Europe, has traveled to 27 countries and spent his formative teen years in Japan. He is originally from Connecticut and graduated from Western Connecticut State University. Tim loves the USA and believes the time spent overseas made him curious and able to see the world from different perspectives. When he’s not helping others, Tim recharges by spending time in nature hiking and camping with his wife, Wendy, and their three young children.
As a coach, certified GiANT consultant, Certified Franchise Executive and Professional EOS Implementer, Tim wants to work with leaders of growing, fast-paced businesses who want to be the best. The EOS tools are simple, but they are not easy to implement. He wants to come alongside teams to ask the hard questions, to find truth, and provide support as they identify and solve issues. Tim invites you to connect with him so you can be the best!
